
Agnes Seebass at Silvie Granatelli's Studio
Agnes Seebass was born in Berlin, Germany, and currently resides in
Cuernavaca,
Mexico. Her designs show a unique mixture of German and Mexican culture.
She combines an interest in geometric shapes and precise execution of form
with the inspiration she gains from the contrasts in the nature that surrounds
her in Mexico. She finds the discovery of transforming her ideas into silver
endless. Her work includes one of a kind pieces and works in series.
Agnes has had work in the American Museum of National
History in New York City, the Craft and Folk Art Museum, Los Angeles, CA,
the Mingei International museum in San Diego, the Museum of Modern Art in
San Francisco, and man other Museum shops.
