Brad Warstler

Brad is an accomplished woodworker; his turned leg table is shown at left. A broad range of work comes out of his shop: from custom furniture, period chairs, to lamps and turned accessories. His work has been exhibited in galleries throughout the United States and published in Wood magazine.
     
 

Ellen Shankin

Ellen is a nationally known potter whose functional stoneware is characterized by strong organic forms and earth tone glazes. Recipient of an NEA Visual Arts Fellowship Grant and a Virginia Museum Grant, she teaches workshops around the country. She has been published in many ceramic books and magazines.
     
 

Stacy Snyder

Stacy Snyder is currently working in Philadelphia as well as at her home in Virginia. She makes functional salt-fired pottery with architectural aspects. Her studio and showroom are located on the outskirts of Blacksburg in Ellett Valley, near the site of the old Yellow Sulphur Springs Hotel.
     
 

Silvie Granatelli

Silvie has been successful nationally with her work, making elegant and personal functional porcelain pottery. Recipient of a Virginia Museum Fellowship, she has given many workshops around the country. Her work can be seen in numerous ceramic books and publications.

Donna Polseno

Donna is a sculptress whose large scale pieces have been highlighted in countless shows throughout the United States. She also makes many varieties of slip cast porcelain vases and objects for use at the dinner table. This fall, Donna and Richard are both teaching in the new ceramics department at Hollins University in Roanoke.
